Architectural Design I (8245)
A.D. is a technical course in principles of residential design, architectural styles and construction practices. Classroom activities include the development of original working drawings, presentation drawings and model building.
Students should show an interest in becoming an architect, interior design engineer, interior decorator or being somehow evolved in the house construction industry. The student must be able to visualize abstract images from many different viewpoints. They should also be familiar with geometric shapes and feel comfortable using math in figuring angles of roofs, determining sizes of rooms, walls and buildings.
