Ms. Lindsay Philippus

Hello and welcome to the fourth grade! I am so excited to have you here. We are going to have a great year together. 

This will be my second year at Hidden Forest! I grew up in NEISD, and I know what a special place this is. I attended Oak Meadow, Jackson, Churchill, and later UTSA and Texas State University before graduating with my BA in Education in 2021. 

Through my college career I have taught in many different environments, including swim coaching, teaching marching band, and teaching in a study abroad program in Cambodia. I have been a lifelong musician, and have participated in international groups such as Drum Corps International and Winter Gaurd International, and in many college ensembles as well.

My fiancee and I live with our cat and two dogs, and we love to go on walks and adventures with them. (Cat is not as excited about going for walks as our dogs are). I am passionate about cooking and baking gluten free and dairy free food, and love trying new recipes! I love reading, camping, and spending time with friends and family.

I am so happy you are joining our class this year, and I know we are going to have so much fun! :)
