Mrs. Ashley Dawson

Howdy! My name is Ashley Dawson. I am entering my 17th year in education. Time flies when you are doing what you love! My education journey began at Wilderness Oak where I taught kindergarten. I had the privilege of teaching kindergarten and first grade at Vineyard Ranch. I am honored to teach second grade another year at Hidden Forest. 

I was born and raised in San Antonio. I am a proud product of NEISD! I attended Thousand Oaks, Driscoll, Churchill, and graduated from Reagan! I continued my education in the great city of College Station (Aggieland). I graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in early childhood education. I am certified to teach early childhood through grade four with an ESL supplement.  

My husband’s name is Daniel and we have been married for 14 years. We have a Labrador named Sadie. She is the sweetest dog and loves to play outside. My greatest joys are my two children Eli and Emree. Eli is thrilled to start third grade at Hidden Forest, and Emree is excited to attend Pre-K at Huebner. 

I look forward to providing hands-on, engaging, and interactive learning for all my students. I strive to create a safe, friendly, and comfortable environment to grow successful learners and leaders. Being an educator is the most entertaining, heartwarming, and joyous position to hold. Because of my strong passion for teaching, I know this will be another momentous year!
