Hi, I am Whitney Baker.  I have been happily teaching for 30 years, this is 31!!!  I received my BA in Interdisciplinary Studies and my Masters in Early Childhood Education from the University of Texas San Antonio. 

I have been lucky enough to have spent my entire 30 years in North East ISD.  I started teaching Pre-Kinder at Harmony Hills Elementary, taught Kinder, first, at Ridgeview Elementary, and then came home to Wetmore when it opened in 2001. This is our 24th year open, and we are so excited about this monumental year of learning and growing! I have taught 1st and 2nd, but the majority of my teaching has been in Kindergarten. I absolutely LOVE teaching. I cannot imagine doing anything else. 

  I have a beautiful daughter, Karabella Wren, who is starting college!  She is truly the light of my life! I love spending time with her and our basset hound, Anna Banana. I am always cleaning, reading or doing school stuff! :) 

 I am so BLESSED and thankful that you are allowing me the honor of teaching your child! I am very open to any suggestions, help and support! I can't wait to work with you and your child!
