Mr. Logan Snyder

A bit about me: My name is Logan Snyder and I am very excited to be teaching Honors Biology while also coaching Boys Soccer at Reagan High School.  I am an NEISD alumnus who is always looking for ways to give back to the community.  That drive has led me to pursue teaching my interests to others.  I have an internal passion for excellence in many areas in my life and I want to pass that flame onward.

My history:  Growing up with a father in the air force has allowed me to travel and live in places like Japan and Germany.  This opportunity has helped me bear witness to many approaches and perspectives in solving problems, both in the classroom and on the field.  During my high school years, my family moved back to my birth city of San Antonio, where I attended Roosevelt High School.  Afterwards, I majored in Biology and Exercise & Sports Science at the University of St. Mary's (here in San Antonio), where I also played for the soccer team.  I earned my teaching certificates in Life Science and Composite Science and have now been teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for the past 14 years.

Going forward:  I would like to continue and grow as a teacher, coach and mentor to my students and athletes.  I want to find success in all challenges and I love to watch and aid others in their own pursuit of growth.  I'm hoping for a wonderful year and we will be sure to make it so.  If you ever need anything, do not hesitate to contact me at the email posted to the left of this page
