Mr. Jason Decker

Hi students and parents,

This is my sixth year teaching and second year at Wetmore.  Prior to this I spent four years teaching fifth grade at El Dorado Elementary.  I am excited about the upcoming school year! Before I became a teacher, I spent 12 years in the Air Force. My first six years were as a firefighter and the last six as a aircraft mechanic.  I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education degree from Texas A&M-SA University, and Associate of Science Degrees in Fire Science and Aviation Maintenance from the Community College of the Air Force.

I have been married to my wife Bernadette for 15 years. We have three sons who are 16, 13 and 9 and they keep us busy throughout the year with soccer, swim and various other activies.
