• Hello Stone Oak Bobcats!  I am so excited about starting my seventeenth year of teaching as one of the music teachers at Stone Oak Elementary!  Sharing my passion for music and making sure that every child is successful is a passion of mine and I am excited to share it. It is an honor to be a part of the long-standing excellence of both schools.

I received my bachelor’s degree at Texas State University-San Marcos in Music Education and was certified to teach Early Childhood- 12th Grade. After student teaching at different levels, I felt strongly that my calling was at the elementary level. I wanted to nurture young minds and help them discover their own love for music. I received my master’s degree in Education Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio in the Summer of 2017.

I am originally from Clear Lake, Texas. I met my husband, Tony, at Texas State University- San Marcos. After graduating, we both began careers here in San Antonio. We have two incredible children, Hailey and Brooklyn, who both attend NEISD schools, and also our loveable dog, Luna.

I am looking forward to working with the students, staff, and parents at Stone Oak. I believe that all students are capable of success and all students can be leaders. Children are our future and working together with campus staff, students, parents, and community partners, we can prepare them to be lifelong learners and leaders for the future.
