Education Background:

HI BOBCATS!!!  I graduated in 2015 with my degree in elementary education (early childhood-6th grade) from the University of Texas at San Antonio (Go Roadrunners!), and I also have an ESL certification (early childhood-8th grade).  I have had the pleasure of teaching Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 3rd grade.  I was also the Stone Oak 2024 Teacher of the Year and one of the Top 3 District Finalists for Teacher of the Year.  Children and education are my passion! I love our students and helping them grow is what makes my job the best.  I'm excited about starting my 10th year of teaching!  Go Bobcats!!!!!

Biography:

I was born in Ft. Worth, TX, but have lived all over the United States throughout my childhood since my dad was in the Air Force.  My 6th-grade teacher inspired me to become a teacher when he opened the doors of learning for me.  He showed me that we don't all learn in the same way and at the same time, but with common goals and hard work, we can achieve the unimaginable!

In November 2018, I had my son Colt, and my life was changed for the better!  My husband and I love taking him on hikes and exploring the world with him.  We take our two dogs, Bartlebee and Sheldon, out with us as much as we can!  Our family LOVES watching football and playing fantasy football.  We also love spending our time reading, running, boating, and finding the best parks to play at!  If I'm not busy with school or my family, I like to take time to do yoga, read, and paint.
