Am I your Pre-K teacher this year?! If so, I am so excited to meet you! Check out this VIDEO and let me read a story to you on the night before school!
Education Background:
Hello Bobcats!
I am a proud graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio, where I earned my degree in Elementary Education (Early Childhood–6th Grade) in 2015—Go Roadrunners! I also hold an ESL certification for Early Childhood through 8th Grade. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of teaching Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 3rd Grade.
In 2024, I was honored to be named Stone Oak’s Teacher of the Year and recognized as one of the Top 3 District Finalists for Teacher of the Year. Teaching is more than a profession—it’s my passion. Helping children grow, learn, and discover their potential brings me so much joy. I am thrilled to begin my 10th year in education and can’t wait for all the adventures ahead with our amazing students. Go Bobcats!
Biography:
I was born in Fort Worth, Texas, but had the unique opportunity to live all across the United States growing up, thanks to my father’s service in the U.S. Air Force. My 6th-grade teacher played a pivotal role in inspiring my journey into education. He helped me realize that learning isn't one-size-fits-all and that with perseverance and shared goals, anything is possible.
In November 2018, my life changed in the best way when my son Colt was born. My husband and I cherish our time exploring the world with him—especially hiking and adventuring with our two dogs, Bartlebee and Sheldon. We’re a football-loving family and enjoy playing fantasy football, reading together, running, boating, and discovering the best local parks.
When I’m not in the classroom or with my family, I enjoy practicing yoga, diving into a good book, and expressing myself through painting.
