Welcome to Stone Oak Elementary!

My name is Brenda Martucci and I am a Special Education Resource teacher. I was born in Mexico, City and moved with my family to Corpus Christi, Texas when I was 14 years old. I graduated from Texas A & M- Corpus Christi with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. After graduation, I worked at a psychiatric hospital, where I found my passion for helping children with disabilities. In 2010, I moved to San Antonio and worked for Child Protective Services as an adoption specialist. When my now 10 year old son started school , I decided to get my teaching certification in Core EC-6, Special Education, ESL and Bilingual education. This is my 4th year at Stone Oak Elementary as a Bilingual Special Education teacher, working mainly with 3rd grade and Kinder. It has truly being a blessing to work with such wonderful staff and amazing students, and I look forward to another year full of excitement and lots of learning!
