Degrees and Certifications:
B.S. Interdisciplinary Studies ESL Certification
My name is Grant Lynch and I am excited to be teaching 5th grade ELAR and Social Studeis at Stone Oak Elementary this school year! I grew up in the city of San Antonio, and attended all NEISD schools; Encino Park, Tejeda, and I graduated from Johnson. Next, I attended Texas State University, where I received my degree in Elementary Education, Pre-K through 6th Grade with an ESL certification. This will be my third year teaching in NEISD and my first year teaching at Stone Oak. I have previously taught third grade at Huebner Elementary, and fifth grade at Vineyard Ranch Elementary.
A little bit about myself… I have a sister who is 25 years old and lives in Austin. My mom lives in San Antonio and is a 3rd grade teacher at Bulverde Creek. I am a HUGE Spurs fan and attend many games throughout the season. GO SPURS GO! I love being outdoors and going on adventures such as hiking, biking, and kayaking. I especially love to do these things at State Parks. Some of the parks I have visited include; Enchanted Rock, Lost Maples, Palo Duro Canyon, and Colorado Bend.
I am looking forward to having an amazing class this year and building great relationships with my students, parents, and faculty members. Please email any time if you have questions about our class or you would like to schedule a conference. It's a great day to be alive and be a Bobcat!!
