Hello, Northwood Unicorns!  

I'm so excited to be back at Northwood Elementary teaching music for my 7th year in 2022-23!  

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I received my bachelors degree in music education from UTSA. I'm also certified in level 1 and 2 of Orff Schulwerk elementary music training from Trinity University.  I continue to play flute and piccolo with the South Texas Symphonic Orchestra.  I have 5 kids. My older 2 kids are married with children.  My youngest child is a senior at Roosevelt HS in the ETA engineering program and she also plays in the marching band drumline. I love to read, spend time with my family, go fishing at the coast with my husband Joe, and of course play and listen to music.

I'm looking foward to making music with you this year! 🎵
