Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year at Churchill HS.  This is my 24rd year with NEISD and my 11th year at Churchill High School.  In addition to being the ACHIEVE coordinator, I support NEISD by being the Achieve Credit Acceleration teacher for English and service all NEISD high schools. It's a great year to be a Charger.

 ** Achieve classes are online classes that support students that have fallen behind their cohort. Students must be referred by their counselor, complete an application, and pass an interview in order to be admitted. Most students enrolled are at the junior and senior levels.  This is not the same as Acceleration.  In Achieve, students failed the academic class at least once and take online courses during the school day (ACHIEVE period).  Not all courses are offered in Achieve.

** Achieve Acceleration is a district program that allows students to achieve initial credit outside of the standard school hours in order to catch up with their cohort and graduate on time. The online classes must be completed outside of standard class times using virtual (face-to-face) sessions (ZOOM).  Please email the school counselor (https://www.neisd.net/Page/21156) or myself (mstief@neisd.net) with questions about the program.  I have designated office hours that vary weekly.
