Hi, my name is Blanca Bustos Gutierrez and my teaching certification credentials include All-Level Special Education, Health, and Kinesiology. I have over 22 years of experience working in this field. Additionally, I have several years of experience working in the field of Mental Health. I started my 16th year of employment with North East Independent School District for the 2023-2024 school year. Currently, I teach/coach physical education and health, a position I have held for the last 6 years. Before my current assignment at the North East Alternative Center (NEAC), I've held different positions in both middle and high schools, which include working in a Redirection Behavior Classroom, in another classroom called SWAS (School Within A School), and as an In-ClassSupport teacher in different academic areas. Over my career lifetime, I have had the honor and privilege of working with children from all walks of life and different age groups, which include, elementary, middle, and high school. All in all, they are the reason why I am motivated to do what I do every single day of my life, day after day, week after week, month after month, and year after year. They are the reason why I continue working in this very rewarding career field.
