Real-world lesson with real-life crime fighters

Students looking at finger prints with CSI

Bringing lessons to life for our students makes learning fun. So, when they see how lessons they learn in the classroom translate into real-world work, students get really excited to learn.

The students learned how to locate and classify different types of fingerprints as SAPD Crime Scene Investigators helped those students dust their classroom for prints. The students also got an up-close view of the CSI team’s vehicle!

Seeing their faces light up as they revealed their unique fingerprint patterns was truly priceless!”

The event was a perfect blend of fun, education and inspiration, leaving students with a deeper understanding of forensic science and inspiring some future investigators.
