North East ISD celebrates 5,000th Staff Shout Out
It’s an exciting day for North East ISD. Staff, students and parents have sent NEISD staff members more than 5,000 Staff Shout Outs. The online recognition lets community members send a “Thank You” to NEISD staff members who have positively impacted them.
It didn’t take long for Shout Outs to pour in, and this week, NEISD received our 5,000th Staff Shout Out! A Coker Elementary School parent sent a Staff Shout Out to her daughter’s teacher, Sandra Timbalari. The parent wanted to let Timbalari know she appreciated her for going out of her way to make sure she and her daughter felt taken care of.
“Last week, my daughter thought she lost a username and password for her iPad. I messaged her teacher, Mrs. Timbalari, letting her know when Mrs. Timbalari explained she had not provided any information yet to the students, so not to worry. When Ava arrived to school, Mrs. Timbalari took Ava aside and spoke with her one-on-one to explain everything. When Ava got home, she was beaming that her teacher was so understanding and helped explain that there was not an issue. I am so thankful for Mrs. Timbalari’s open communication and extra care of our little girl.”
NEISD Superintendent of Schools Dr. Sean Maika; Chief of Schools and Leadership Rudy Jimenez; and Board of Trustees Secretary and District 1 Trustee Lisa Thompson, stopped by Coker to deliver balloons, smiles and a personal “Thank You” for the service she provides to our community.
When Timbalari started teaching at Coker Elementary School 15 years ago, she might not have known the impact she would make. Since then, she has helped and supported countless students on their educational journeys, and we are thankful she is sharing her love and talents with our students and community.
“I love Coker,” said Timbalari. “This has been a dream. I love it here. Thank you!”
