Hello, 

My name is Walter Lee Pearson, Known as "Mr. Lee" to your child. I am a retired Paramedic/Firefighter. I have been on the education side for over 30 years, and 10 of them have been with UTHealth teaching the US Army as well as 2, 3, and 4th year medical students. This is my 4th year teaching at the high school level and I love it. As much as I hate to admit it, I am training my replacement in this career field. I live in a town about 85 miles from here call Granite shoals, Texas. It is on Lake LBJ. I get up and drive each day to teach the students what I know, because I/we might need them some day to take care of us. I hope the students are learning as much from me as I do from them. Although they are not my biological children, I consider each one my child.

I have an amazing wife who I have known for over 20 years and have been married to for 14 years. We have 2 children and 2 grandchildren and 1 godson.

I come from a family of public safety people. I have a total of 12 cousins and a brother and sister make 14. Of those, 12 are either fire, EMS or police officers. My sister is a nurse. We all planned our careers at a early age of 7–10 years old and all of us have done what we planned on doing as soon as we graduated from high school.

I do have several certifications in the EMS/Fire field and for each of them I hold the instructor cert to teach that required field.

I offer tutoring from 0730-0830 each day.

My class schedule is

1st/2nd period 08:50-10:21

3rd/4th period 11:10-12:31

6th/7th period 13:35-14:56
