Mrs. Lydia White

My name is Lydia White, and I am from Abilene, Texas.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the University of North Texas.  I received my teacher's certification from St. Mary's University.  I am certified in Pre-K through Fourth Grade and I have an ESL certification. I have had various jobs in education ranging from SeaWorld to Sparkpoint Innovations, which is a traveling science field trip.

I am so excited to be teaching First Grade this year.  I am new to NEISD, but I did teach in NISD for nine years.  My husband and I have three great kiddos.  Cooper is at Roosevelt in the DATA program.  Adeline is at Ed White in the DATA program.  And, last but not least, Harper is at Redland Oaks.  All three of my children were or are Redland Racoons and now I am too.  I am excited for this new adventure and I absolutely love our Redland Oaks community.
