Welcome back to school! The 2022-2023 school year will begin my 24th year teaching at Stahl Elementary.  I have taught 3rd grade, kindergarten, 5th grade, 4th grade, and now I'm back in 3rd. I am so excited about the new year and working with your child!

I believe that every student has something valuable and special to offer our classroom community. My goal is to develop your child's talents and provide instruction that meets individual needs. Together, as a team (students, parents, teacher), we can create a successful learning environment.

I graduated from Judson High School in 1989.  I then attended UTSA and graduated in 1997 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.  In 1997, I moved to San Diego where I received my teaching credential from CSUSM (California State University San Marcos) in 1999.  In May of 2009, I finally completed my master's degree in Education with a concentration in Educational Leadership.

In my free time I love to read and spend time with my daughter who is a freshman running track at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. (Time flies so cherish the moments with your young 3rd grader!) We have a crazy dog named Marvin who is finally out of his puppy stage and starting to be a good boy! I also volunteer at my church in the children's department working with 4 and 5 year olds during Kids Church. Other hobbies I would like to have more time for are gardening, painting at Painting with a Twist, and home DIY projects. An interesting fact about me is that I have an identical twin sister. You might see her around town and think that it's me!
