Hello! I'm Karynna Ramirez, a 2nd grade dual language teacher at Stahl Elementary! I am very excited for this school year!

¡Hola! Soy Karynna Ramírez, la maestra del programa lenguaje dual de segundo en la primaria Stahl. Estoy muy entusiasmada para comenzar este año escolar. 

Experience & Education / Experiencia & Educación:

I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2012 with a Bachelor's of Science in Applied Learning and Development. I started teaching ten days after I graduated and I fell in love with the profession. This is my 11th year of teaching. I've previously taught 3rd grade for 8 years, and 4th and 5th for 1 year each. My mother was also a bilingual teacher for 29 years. She taught me the importance of a good education and instilled in me the importance of being bilingual. 

Me gradué de la Universidad de Texas en Austin en 2012 con mi licenciatura en aprendizaje y desarrollo aplicado. Conseguí mi primer trabajo 10 días después de mi graduación y me enamoré de mi profesión. Tengo 11 años de experiencia como maestra. Este será mi séptimo año dando clases de tercero. Mi mamá también fue maestra bilingüe por 29 años. Me enseño el valor de una buena educación y me mostró la importancia de ser bilingüe.

About Me/Sobre Mí:
In my spare time, I love to read, write, draw, dance, sing, play piano, and create graphic designs. I am obsessed with coffee in its various forms, especially espresso, lattes, and iced coffee. I am a D&D nerd who loves dad jokes and making people laugh.
