Welcome to my webpage! I am Cristina Rice, and I am grateful to be your child’s teacher this school year.

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the Universidad de Puerto Rico, Recinto de Río Piedras. I moved to San Antonio in 2007 and I joined the North East ISD family in January 2008 as a Bilingual Teacher Assistant. I also worked as a Pre-Kinder Assistant and a Special Education/Redirection Assistant between 2008 and 2010. I started as a Kindergarten Dual Language/Two Way Immersion teacher at Stahl Elementary School in 2010. I have been teaching at Stahl for 15 years.

I'm married to my wonderful husband, Josh, and we have an amazing daughter named Camila and twin boys, Mateo and Nikkola. I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends.

My goal is to guide my students to achieve academic success and to prepare them to be independent learners. I believe in making learning fun and exciting for my students. I would like to thank you for allowing me to be part of your child’s education. We are going to have a fun and exciting year, full of growth and knowledge! 

¡Bienvenidos a mi página web! Soy Cristina Rice y estoy agradecida de ser la maestra de su hijo(a) este año escolar.

Nací y crecí en Puerto Rico. Me gradué con un bachillerato en Educación Infantil de la Universidad de Puerto Rico, Recinto de Río Piedras. Me mudé a San Antonio en 2007 y me uní a la familia de North East ISD en enero de 2008 como asistente de maestro bilingüe. También trabajé como asistente de preKinder y asistente de educación especial entre 2008 y 2010. Comencé como maestra  de kindergarten de lenguaje dual en la escuela primaria Stahl en 2010. He enseñado en Stahl  15 años. 

Estoy casada con mi maravilloso esposo Josh y tenemos una hija increíble llamada Camila y gemelos Nikkola y Mateo. Me gusta pasar tiempo de calidad con mi familia y amigos.

Mi objetivo es guiar a mis alumnos para que logren obtener su máximo potencial académico y prepararlos para ser independientes. Me enfoco en que el aprendizaje sea divertido y emocionante para mis alumnos. Quiero agradecerle por permitirme ser parte de la educación de su hijo(a). ¡Vamos a tener un año divertido y emocionante, lleno de crecimiento y conocimiento!
