I am very excited to be teaching here at Coker Elementary as a 1st grade teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. I look forward to helping your child be successful this school year. 

 Background:
   * I graduated in 2006 from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a B.A. in English.
   * I taught pre-K at Country Home Learning Center for 5 years.
   * In 2013, I joined San Antonio NEISD as a substitute teacher and I subbed in the district from 2013-2015. I was hired by Coker Elementary as a Special Education paraprofessional for the 2015-2016 school year, where I worked with a variety of children with special needs in a variety of different classroom settings, including ALE and general education.
   * In 2016, I was hired as a Special Education teacher at Coker Elementary. I was a Special Education teacher at Coker for five years.
   * During the 2021-2022 school year, I was a 4th grade General Education teacher and had an amazing year in the General Education classroom.

A Little About Me: 
I have lived in San Antonio since 2004. I love this city and all the color and culture here. I live with my husband Daniel and our four fur babies Elphaba, Liir, Butterscotch, and Beatrix Kitto. I love all things cats and cutesy. I am an avid tea and coffee drinker. My favorite pastimes are reading, karaoke, gaming, and dancing.
