Hi! My name is Natalie Behnke, and this will be my 8th year teaching at Coker.  I am so excited to begin teaching another year in first grade. 

I was born and raised right here in San Antonio. I attended Oak Meadow, Hardy Oak, Bush MS, Lopez MS, and Reagan HS in NEISD. I then attended TLU. I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education with ESL in May 2016. I completed my Master of Arts in Education (Curriculum and Instruction) at TLU again in May 2021!

I know that my students’ parents are their primary teachers. With this in mind, I plan to get them involved as much as possible in their child’s education. Each child comes from a unique background and culture, which they should incorporate in their daily lives.

 My hope is that my students become lifelong learners, who aspire to make the world a better place.
