Welcome to another exciting school year. This is my 13th year teaching at Coker Elementary School. I am elated to be teaching 5th grade this year.  As an experienced 5th grade teacher, I welcome the opportunity to prepare my students for middle school challenges. As a second language learner, I understand the challenges my students go through, but also the benefits of learning a second language.   I graduated in 2000 from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor’s of Art in Economics with an emphasis in Accounting. I received my teacher’s certification from Region 20 in 2001. I look forward to a wonderful school year.  

Bienvenidos al curso escolar 2020-2021.  Este es mi treceavo año de ser maestra en Coker. Me da mucho gusto poder ser la maestra de su hijo(a) este año.  Agradezco la oportunidad de preparar a mis estudiantes para la secundaria.  Como estudiante de un segundo idioma, entiendo los retos de aprender y también la importancia de ser bilingüe.  Me gradué de la Universidad de California, Santa Barbara, con una licenciatura en Economía con énfasis en Contabilidad.  Recibí mi título de maestra de Región 20 en el 2001.  Sé que tendremos un año escolar genial.
