I am from Brownsville, Texas where I graduated from high school and college.  After college, I moved to San Antonio to find a job.  After two years of sub-teaching, I found myself leaving San Antonio area.  After many years of working out of San Antonio area I found the opportunity to come back to San Antonio area.  Now in my 15th year in education I am currenlty working at Coker ES.  

I have a background in business, music, art and now computers.  I enjoy learning for my own self worth and seeing others do the same.  That is what keeps me in education, seeing my students' progress.  Some of my most enjoyable teaching years was working in alternative education, helping students fill in learning gaps so that they would be successful.
