Hi there!

My name is Miranda Suarez. I have been a teacher for the past six years, and this will be my 4th year teaching THIRD GRADE at Wetmore Elementary. I graduated in December of 2020 from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (Early Childhood-6th grade) with an English Second Language generalist certification. 

Before I joined Wetmore, I taught at Montgomery Elementary for half a year as a first-grade teacher. Go Mustangs! While at Texas State, I had the opportunity to intern at Bonham Pre-Kindergarten, San Marcos Academy, Crockett Elementary, and Travis Elementary. Working at these schools, I was able to learn about the value of play and how it's important to provide a safe and fun-loving environment for students. 

A fun fact about me is that I was a Wetmore Ranger too! I'm so thankful and lucky to come back and join the Ranger family.
