Mrs. Nancy Salinas
I was born and raised in San Juan, Tx. and have been married for 12 years. I am a proud mother of two wonderful children (12 year old boy and a 7 year old girl). I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas Pan American and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Technology from Grand Canyon University. I am currently attending a Leadership Program to obtrain my Leadership Certificate and attending Grand Canyon University pursuing a Doctoral Degree. I have been blessed with the opportunity to teach 4th Grade, 5th Grade and 6th Grade. I have a little over 6 years of teaching experience at Vanguard Academy and this is my second year with North East ISD. The achievements that I have received are being named Teacher of the Year from 2018-2019, Outstanding Achievement Award 2019, Outstanding Achievement Award in Growth 2019, and was nominated for a Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching by my former Superintendent this. I look forward to the opportunity to serve my community at Woodstone Elementary as a 5th grade Math teacher.
