This course is designed to prepare students for the ExCPT exam. This certification exam is one of two tests recognized by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. Students learn to receive prescription requests from patients and doctors’ offices, accurately measure medication amounts, package and label prescriptions, establish and maintain patient records, accept payment for prescriptions and process insurance claims, and manage inventory.
