Hello Hidden Forest Elementary! My name is Anissa Rae Villarreal, and I am so honored to be your child's 1st grade teacher! This will be my third year teaching elementary school. I completed my clinical teaching semester at Hidden Forest Elementary and fell in love with the students, staff, campus, and community. I graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies specializing in K-6th grade. 

I am very proud to say that I am the first person in my family to attend and graduate from a 4-year university. I moved to San Antonio in the fall of 2014 and fell in love with the city and it's amazing and rich culture. I have a wonderful husband, Keenan, and the most adorable cats named Kitty, Moomoo, and Pepper! When I am not teaching, I really enjoy sewing, crafting, and DIY home improvement projects.

I look forward to teaching our 1st Graders and promoting a fun and safe learning environment. I believe that together we can be successful in inspiring life-long learners.
