Ms. Christy Pantusa

Hello Families!  I am excited to be with your little raccoons at Redland Oaks Elementary!  My own children attend NEISD and I know just how amazing the opportunities are here to have well rounded learning! I have been a student, parent, and teacher in NEISD, watching us grow into the most forward thinking district around. 

I grew up in good ol' San Antonio, graduated from LEE high school, received my bachelors in child psychology at University of the Incarnate Word and my masters at UTSA.  While there, I  was granted the opportunity to teach a freshman college course at UTSA and realized my passion for sharing knowledge.  I became certified in Early Childhood thru 8th grade, with ESL, SPED certifications for those grades as well.  I have taught middle school and elementary school now for 7 years. I took some time inbetween my teaching to stay at home with my 2 sons, Andrew and Nathan.

In my free time, I enjoy bike rides with my family, dancing/zumba, making crafts...and shopping!   No matter what grade, what I love about teaching is getting children excited to learn, to see their eyes light up when they make a connection to grow, and watch as they start to believe in themselves!  Feel free to reach out to me throughout the year.  Together, we will build a solid foundation for your child's success!  ♥
