Mrs. Julie Conroy

Hello Rattlers!  Welcome to Co-Teach and Resource Math.

I am so excited about teaching at Reagan HS for my 4th year. I grew up in Indianapolis and am a proud graduate of Purdue University (BOILER UP!) earning a BS in Child Development and Family Sciences. I have been working with children and families in a social service or non-profit capacity for more than 25 years. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate enough to work with a few renowned organizations, such as Big Brother Big Sisters and YMCA. I have been married for 27 years to my husband, Doug, whose position as a Chemical Engineer in the cement industry brought us to San Antonio after living in Ohio and New Jersey. I first joined NEISD as a substitute teacher and the more time I spent in these halls, the more I knew that teaching at Reagan was what I wanted to be doing. So, I earned a certificate in Special Education and Secondary Math.

I am not only a Rattler teacher, but my husband and I are also Rattler parents. Our son, Evan, graduated in 2021 and our daughter, Zoe, is a Sophomore this year. Zoe is in the band program, so we are VERY proud and busy band parents and volunteers. We also love our fur babies, George and Gracie. I love talking about football, especially after the Colts have played (and won) and March Madness when my Boilermakers make it to the race.

I am very excited to be working with your student. It's going to be a great year!
