Ms. Mimari's Class

I am the daughter of two educators and grew up in San Antonio, where I attended Castle Hills Elementary, Jackson Middle School, and Lee High School.

I knew I wanted to become a teacher when I had the opportunity to visit my mom's kindergarten class. There I would help her with her students and in the classroom on my days off. I graduated from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama...War Eagle!

I returned to Texas and earned my teaching certificate in 1995, and began my teaching adventure in early childhood education. I have taught pre-school, kindergarten, and first grade over the last twenty-five years.

I am the mother of two children: Marshall, Ellie and a menagerie of four- legged rescue animals. I am passionate about early childhood education and look forward to engaging your child in a learning environment that fosters community, independence, problem solving, kindness and a love of learning.

I am happy to be part of the Hidden Forest Community and look forward to meeting my students and families.
