Brian Eanes

Hello! My name is Brian Eanes and I am a proud product of the NEISD system. I attended Harmony Hills Elementary School, Eisenhower Middle School, and Churchill High School. I earned my B.A. in Plan II from The University of Texas at Austin, and my M.A. in Art History from The Pennsylvania State University. I was pursuing my Ph.D. with an eye toward teaching at the college level, when I had an epiphany. I wanted to teach and interact with students in the most direct way possible. Based on my experience in NEISD, I decided that teaching high school would be my professional path and passion.

I am beginning my 23rd year in the district, and my 6th year at Reagan High School. My current assignment includes teaching AP Art History, G/T Interdisciplinary Studies I and II, and teaching and coaching the nationally recognized Reagan Interp team. Bringing to

I am honored to have been named Teacher of the Year and Trinity Prize nominee for Churchill High School in 2013, and I was inducted into the Texas Forensic Association Hall of Fame in 2017.

I am looking forward to spending time with each of my students this year, helping students better understand the role of art in human history, bolstering their capacity to research and create in any arena, and to help them tell stories in a competitive setting.
