Welcome to a new year at Hidden Forest! I am very excited to be your child's teacher this year! This is my 5th year of teaching, and second year at the forest. I have two children at school with me. My youngest will be in First Grade this year. My oldest son will be in 3rd grade this year.  My husband, David, is a mechanical engineer at Southwest Research Institute, and we've been married 15 years. We have two silly rescue dogs and 10 colorful fish. I love working in my yard on projects or learning about new plants. I like to read and dabble in portrait photography. I love most foods and sweets, but my favorite is Mexican food and chocolate. Our family really enjoys traveling, being outside, and getting creative! I graduated from Texas State University. I've lived in Texas my whole life, I have 3 sibliings, and I am the second oldest. 

I truly enjoy working with children, and teaching and learning is my passion. I can't wait to meet all of you and get to know you better! I hope to be a resource to you and your family this year. If you have any questions please reach out. It's going to be a great year of learning and fun!
