I am so thankful to be teaching Kindergarten ESL at Oak Grove Elementary this year! I grew up in Houston, TX and received my Bachelors in Social Work from Texas State University. I then earned my Masters in Teaching English as a Second Language from UTSA. This will be my second year teaching and I cannot wait to see how my students and I grow together this year. 

I have always known I wanted to work with children because they are so full of joy and life. I am passionate about fostering growth in all areas - academic, social, and emotional. I strive to create a learning environment where children feel welcome, safe, and like they belong. I am also always aiming to bring fun and excitement to learning!

I have been married to my husband, Andrew, for 7 years and we have a joyful 7-month-old daughter named Lily and sweet, silly, 16-year-old dog named Ace. We love to go hiking, read books, and cook together. We also love to spend as much time as we can with our friends and family.
