Congratulations to our 2022 ‘Torneo Literario’ champions from Vineyard Ranch Elementary School!
‘Torneo Literario’ is essentially a Spanish Battle of the Books competition designed to encourage students to pick up a book while battling their peers. During the contest, students are tasked with reading a variety of books and remembering information about the plots, characters and settings.
Teams from several North East ISD elementary campuses faced off in a competition on Tuesday, May 24.
This is one of the many ways that NEISD’s Dual Language program promotes bilingualism and bi-literacy, and academic achievement in all students.
