Meet our wonderful counselor, Mrs. Flores!
Mrs. Flores serves any and all of our Huebner Huskies. She is a wonderful person for students and teachers alike to go talk to, get advice from, and so much more. We love Mrs. Flores! Here is a little more about her experience.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of the Incarnate Word.
I have a Master’s degree in Advanced Literacy from Concordia University.
I have a Master’s degree in Counseling from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
I have been in education for 21 years and in that time I have taught 1st, 2nd, 4th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades. I was a dyslexia/reading specialist for 7 years in the middle school setting and I’ve been a counselor for 8 years, 5 of which are here at Huebner.
Certifications: EC-12th grade reading specialist, K-12 SPED, K-12 ESL, EC-5 generalist, 6-8 English, Science, Social Studies, K-12 Counseling.
