SETA is the premier magnet school program for students who are interested in preparing for the engineering career fields of tomorrow. In collaboration with NASA through our Space Act Agreement, SETA offers an unparalleled learning experience where students benefit directly from NASA's expertise and, with open-enrollment, students from across school boundaries can join our prestigious magnet school program.

At SETA, we take pride in our unique partnership with NASA. Our joint effort brings invaluable field expertise and resources that are seamlessly incorporated into every aspect of our educational experience. From curriculum development to exclusive opportunities, our students are immersed in the world of engineering with real-world experiences from NASA. This enables our magnet school program to offer a diverse range of engineering career pathways, allowing students to specialize in their areas of interest. Choose from aerospace engineering, aviation technology engineering, computer science engineering, or manufacturing & mechanical engineering. Through engaging educational teachings in design, manufacturing, and flight courses, students gain practical skills and theoretical knowledge to excel in their chosen field.

Our strong foundation, supported by an advisory board consisting of industry leaders, higher education representatives, and experienced community members, permits us to provide students with recognized industry certifications. This distinction sets SETA graduates apart and enhances accolades, ensuring that students are well-prepared for their post-graduation endeavors. Depending on their chosen pathway and certification(s), graduates have the flexibility to seamlessly transition into the workforce. However, for those seeking further education, SETA offers the opportunity to explore post-high school educational routes. 

We believe in providing our students with real-world exposure and networking opportunities, which is why our curriculum includes two years of computer programming education for all SETA High School students. The educational training paired with our strong network of partners ensures a solid foundation for success. SETA is dedicated to establishing vibrant futures for our students by working with our partners and the city of San Antonio to create job and internship opportunities in the future. Eventually, our ties will allow us to offer a multitude of opportunities outside of SETA, both during the academic year and throughout the summer for our students.
