• Admission and Enrollment

SETA’s 6th to 12th grade magnet school program is an open enrollment campus for San Antonio students interested in the engineering careers of tomorrow. Our academy offers four career pathways - aerospace, aviation technology, computer science, or manufacturing & mechanical engineering - for students to enroll in.

We look forward to having students and their families consider joining our innovative academic community. Outlined below is everything that’s needed to know about how to enroll, the application process, and the admission requirements of SETA.

To apply, submit a magnet application. If you have any questions about the enrollment process, please contact us.

    Admission Requirements

Admission to SETA's prestigious space, aerospace, engineering and technology magnet school program is highly selective. Prospective students must demonstrate exceptional academic ability by meeting rigorous criteria, including achieving top scores on standardized tests. This competitive admission process ensures SETA identifies and enrolls students who are truly passionate about an education in engineering.

While the specific admission requirements vary slightly for each of SETA's four engineering pathways, our academy generally prioritizes applicants who exhibit outstanding performance in core subjects closely tied to engineering success, including mathematics and science, while also demonstrating an interest in engineering related activities.
