Mrs. Belford

I love 4th grade!  I've been teaching amazing students for 21 years.  In 1998 I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Our Lady of the Lake University in Speech Pathology.  I returned to school in 2001 to obtain my teaching certificate from the University of Texas at San Antonio.  I've taught multiple grades, including kindergarten, 3rd, 4th, and 5th.  I'm passionate about teaching and love to see the "a-ha" moments when my students learn and master new skills!

In addition to being a teacher, I'm also a proud NEISD wife and Mom!  My husband is an Instructional Technology Specialist in the district.  He works closely with teachers and administrators at MacArthur High School, Garner Middle School, Bradley Middle School, and the Academy of Creative Education (ACE).  We have three former Coker Cubs.  Our oldest daughter graduated from Texas A&M and is studying for her MCAT.  Our middle daughter is a junior at UTSA.  She is studying to be a middle school or high school math teacher. Our youngest child is a 7th grader at Bradley Middle School.  He's enjoying being a part of athleticts (football and basketball) and band (saxophone).

I am blessed to be teaching in our wonderful community and for an amazing school district.
