What is the MacUNITED Early College High School?
MacUNITED Early College High School allows students to graduate with up to 60 hours of college credit or an Associate Degree from San Antonio College while earning a high school diploma NEISD.

The benefits include dual credit courses at no cost, accelerated education, academic and social support services, increased college readiness, reduced barriers to college access, career and industry opportunities, and the ability to graduate with up to two years of college completed.

Students may pursue an Associate of Arts in Teaching (AAT) or an Associate of Arts (AA) with a business focus.

How much does the MacUNITED Early College High School cost?
MacUNITED ECHS is completely free, covering the costs of textbooks, tuition, fees, and transportation associated with any college academics.

Who can apply to Mac UNITED ECHS?
Any incoming freshmen students in the greater San Antonio area, regardless of school district boundaries, can apply as MacUNITED is an open-enrollment ECHS.

The Early College High School operates as a school within MacArthur High School, with students taking core and dual credit courses through the ECHS and electives with non-ECHS classes at MacArthur. Yes, accepted students must attend a week-long summer bridge program focused on transitioning to high school and college, TSIA2 preparation, and college success skills.
