UTSA
The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) is renowned for its comprehensive cybersecurity program, which ranks among the top in the nation. Our collaboration with UTSA provides iCSI students with significant academic and professional opportunities. Many of our graduates compete on UTSA's elite cyber teams, gaining experience in high-stakes environments. Additionally, iCSI alumni frequently work in the UTSA IoT Research Lab, contributing to cutting-edge research and development in Internet of Things (IoT) security.
San Antonio Community Colleges
iCSI frequently collaborates and communicates with San Antonio community colleges, which boast top-notch cybersecurity programs. Our ongoing partnership ensures that iCSI students are well-prepared to transition seamlessly into these institutions. iCSI graduates entering these programs are often recognized for their advanced preparation and strong foundational knowledge, enabling them to excel in their studies. Amazon Web Services (AWS)
iCSI provides students with free access to core Amazon resources such as EC2 and S3 as an Amazon partner. Amazon's cloud infrastructure is extensively used in student labs and practice, allowing students to gain experience with industry-leading cloud technologies, preparing them for roles in cloud computing and cybersecurity. AWS also supports our program with curriculum resources, equipping students with skills that are directly applicable to their future careers in the rapidly evolving field of cybersecurity.
Cisco
iCSI provides students rigorous training in networking and cybersecurity, preparing them for certifications such as CCNA, by being a Cisco Academy. Our Cisco-accredited Network+ instructors offer high-quality education in building, configuring, and troubleshooting networks. The partnership grants access to Cisco’s extensive resources, including labs, simulation tools, and current instructional materials. Regular coordination between iCSI faculty and Cisco professionals ensures that teaching methods and content remain cutting-edge.
CompTIA
Recognized as a CompTIA Academy, iCSI offers students the chance to earn globally recognized certifications such as ITF+, Network+, Security+, Pentest+, and CYSA+. These certifications are integrated into the curriculum, providing students with the necessary knowledge and skills. The partnership with CompTIA grants access to valuable resources, including study materials and practice exams. Coordination between iCSI faculty and CompTIA ensures that our academics aligns with the latest industry standards and best practices.
CrowdStrike
CrowdStrike, a leading cybersecurity technology company, is a key partner of iCSI. Third-year Security+ students have the unique opportunity to engage with CrowdStrike tools, applying classroom concepts to practical, hands-on scenarios. This access helps solidify their understanding of cybersecurity principles and threat management. Additionally, CrowdStrike offers professional development opportunities for iCSI educators, enhancing the quality of instruction and student preparedness.
Splunk
Our partnership with Splunk is a cornerstone of the iCSI program. Through this collaboration, students work toward the Splunk Core certification, acquiring valuable skills and industry-recognized credentials. Splunk provides essential infrastructure, comprehensive curriculum resources, and professional development opportunities for both students and educators. This partnership ensures the curriculum remains current and effective, with regular training sessions and workshops coordinated between iCSI faculty and Splunk professionals.
