Outside of Washington, D.C., the City of San Antonio is home to the largest concentration of cybersecurity specialists. The NSA, FBI, Air Force, Department of Homeland Security, and approximately 40 headquarters of private cybersecurity companies are located in San Antonio and all are in high demand of cybersecurity talent and skills. As of 2022, the cybersecurity industry has a workforce shortage of 3.4 million positions.

With the education offered at ICSI, students of our magnet school program are fully prepared to fulfill the needs of the emerging cybersecurity sector. NEISD offers cybersecurity certifications to ICSI graduates, allowing students to launch their careers with salaries starting around $60,000 annually.
