The 2022 - 23 school year will be my 37th year in education and my 27th year at Northern Hills. I have taught 5th grade for 24 years and 3rd grade for two years. I am originally from Northern California and prior to moving to Texas, I taught 6th grade and worked as an aide in special education and a 3/4 grade combined class.  I attended college at what is now Cal Poly Humboldt where I got a degree in Social Work with a school emphasis.  I love sports and played rugby in high school and in college.  My favorite sports teams are the All Blacks, the national rugby team of New Zealand, the San Francisco Giants,the 49ers and the University of Texas.  In my spare time I enjoy watching my daughter perform in her school's marching band.  I also like to cook and spend time at the beach.
