Ms. Emery

Welcome Bronco Families! This is my first year teaching and it is my pleasure to be serving your child as their special education teacher. I grew up in San Antonio and attended Nothern Hills Elementary for K-2 Grade. My family moved to the Judson school district, and I  graduated from Judson High School. GO ROCKETS!!! I attended Oklahoma Wesleyan University to play basketball for my first two years of college, and then I transferred to the Alamo Colleges to be closer to home. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and had plans to become a coach. I was an instructional assistant for two years in special education and PE. During my time as an instructional assistant, I felt called to special education, so I earned my certification through Texas Teachers of Tomorrow, an alternative certification program. As the special education teacher, I give my students in-class support in the PreK setting for the full school day to meet all of their educational needs.

I am blessed to have an opportunity to serve my students in early childhood because they bring me so much joy. I'm looking forward to having a great school year. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns (my conference is 12:45-1:30).
