Mrs. Catalina Silva

I am very excited to be at El Dorado Elementary School as Math Instructional Coach.  I am starting my 21st year in education with experience in all grade levels from Kinder to 6th grade in all content areas.  My specialization is Bilingual Education and a heartfelt love for math. 

I was raised in Eagle Pass, Texas and then moved to earn my Bachelor's Degree from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.  I fell in love with the area and have lived in the area for the past 20+ years.  I earned my Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.

I am thrilled to be a part of the El Dorado family and so excited to get to know your children.  I look forward to meeting everyone and hope to make a difference in the lives of our students!
