Mrs. Jennifer Cooper
Dear Nimitz/STEM Parents, Students, and Community Members,
My name is Jennifer Cooper, and I am honored to serve the students and families of Nimitz
Middle School as the new Principal. I’m passionate about education, and I look forward to
partnering with you to provide our students with a rigorous, engaging, and high-quality
middle school experience. I recognize the importance of a strong home-to-school connection. Parents and family members are every child’s first teachers,
and I believe that by working together, we can make certain your child’s social, emotional, and academic needs are met.
As your new principal, I promise to treat your child as if they were my own. Whether it’s in
the classroom, on the field, or on the stage, our team will work together to continue the
tradition of excellence that exists at Nimitz Middle School.
Thank you for trusting me with your student. It's a great day to be a Seahawk!
Respectfully,
Jennifer Cooper

Welcome to Nimitz/STEM Academy!
We are so excited to be serving your student this school year! STEM Academy is a place not quite like any other. We seek to serve our students through small learning communities, while still getting to take full advantage of the offerings of the main campus. It’s great to link arms with our Seahawk family!
Having served as an elementary teacher, a high school teacher, and STEM Assistant Director, I have a great understanding of meeting student needs. Our unique problem-based learning approach helps students make deep connections with the curriculum and encourages them to innovate and explore. I look forward to partnering with your family as we encourage students succeed in the classroom as well as in the various extracurricular activities in which they participate. It is an honor to work with each student, parent and faculty member in order to promote academic excellence in this positive and supportive learning environment!
