    Serving Grades Pre-K through 5

Welcome to Thousand Oaks Elementary School, home of the Thunderbolts!

Building outstanding leaders toward success. That is the goal of Thousand Oaks Elementary School day in and day out. Our staff empowers our students to become leaders in and out of the classroom. We are a proud Leader In Me School, teaching our students the seven habits of highly effective people. This gives them confidence, independence, and self-reliance. Our students understand they can’t control everything, so we empower them to change and control what they can. Our goal is to make sure our students don’t just have academic success but become leaders who are ready for life outside our campus. We offer a STEAM lab, music classes, and two computer labs. Besides academics, we provide Social Emotional Learning (SEL) time in every classroom, every day. This ensures students are fully ready for success through their learning journey.

Welcome to the MacArthur Cluster in the North East Independent School District. As a Thousand Oaks Elementary School student, your child will establish a passion, curiosity, and foundation for life-long learning while nurturing their social and emotional skills. Outside of the classroom, your child can embrace what they love or try something new through diverse clubs, programs and organizations.

Your child will discover even more opportunities at Garner and Driscoll Middle School. As their academic foundation expands in the classroom, their circle of friends and experiences will grow through new opportunities in Athletics, Fine Arts, Student Council, National Junior Honor Society, competitive UIL contests, and more.

At MacArthur High School, your child will excel academically and socially while embracing beloved Brahma traditions with memories that will last a lifetime. Your child has the freedom and support to pursue their passions in a variety of programs, organizations, and clubs – from Athletics to JROTC, Band, Dance, PALS, Photography, UIL, and much more. MacArthur is proud to be the only Dual Language high school in NEISD with thriving bilingual, bi-literate, and bicultural students. MacArthur is also home to NEISD’s unique magnet program MacUP. These future educators get a head start as a UTSA student and can graduate with more than 50 hours of college credit that goes toward their teaching degree.

There’s so much to discover in the MacArthur cluster. Thank you for choosing NEISD.
