Mrs. Renette Powell
My name is Renette and I have been in education for 14 years. I began my career as an Instructional Assistant, progressed to teaching Special Education for five years, then as a 3rd grade collaborative teacher in Northside ISD. I earned a BS in Criminal Justice and Human Services from Wayland Baptist University in 2001, an MS in Business Security Management from Webster University in 2005 and received my Educational Leadership from Lamar University in Beaumont Texas in 2015. I’ve worked over 20+ years with the United States Air Force, US Army Corp of Engineering, and Booz Allen Hamilton as a Financial Business Consultant and Management Analyst.
My husband, Ramon and I have three children, with one in high school. I absolutely love working with students and I am ecstatic to be working with an awesome group of society changers. Our students’ future is my top priority and Hidden Forest needs each of us to make that happen!
I am excited about working with all of you and I look forward to an exciting and safe school year.
