Hello Mustangs! My name is Emily Aristeguieta and I am a Special Education Teacher. I am excited to be working with you this year, though it may look differently than we anticipated.I am eager to jump in feet first, and be an advocate and resource for my strudents. I am a graduate of Angelo State University with a Bachelor in Animal Science, and I have a Teaching Certificate through Texas Teachers Alternative Certification Program. My two passions in life are animals and children. I am a part of a therapy dog organization, where my dog Bella and I visit schools, nursing homes, and hospitals, to greet and comfort those going through a difficult time, or just need a friendly face to visit with. I love teaching and am excited to share my love of learning and passion for animals and the world we live in with my students.
