Interested in applying to NESA?
Students are accepted to NESA only through an Application and Audition Process. For all majors we accept incoming 9th graders; incoming 10th, 11th, and 12th graders will be considered on a case by case basis based on cohort size. NESA requires students to complete at least two full credits of NESA courses for every year enrolled in order to graduate with a NESA endorsement.
There are no remaining auditions for the 2022-23 school year.
Audition dates for the 2023-24 school year will be posted in the fall.
In order to apply, students MUST submit all of the following AT LEAST TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE AUDITION DATE:
- ONLINE APPLICATION
- Grade Transcript from current school
- 300-500 word typed essay (required for applicants in Creative Writing, Cinema, Instrumental Music, Technical Theatre and Visual Arts) addressing the topic "Why I Should Be Considered for NESA."
